Funfair

For Part 3 of our exploration of Britishness for Duffer’s Japanese marketing campaign we were inspired by the David Essex movie That’ll Be The Day and the great traditions of The Fairground. We cast three ‘rough diamonds’ to play the nomadic characters that you find working the dodgems, carousels, waltzers and merry-go-rounds, and sourced a classic fair with ornate hand-painted graphics which we then hired, the day before it opened to the public.
