For the fourth part of our exploration of Britishness for Duffer’s Japanese marketing campaign we researched the student socio-political movements of the 1960's and 1970's. We scouted Conway Hall, a wonderfully atmospheric and historically significant (anti) establishment and a hot bed of free speech, protest and radical expressionism. Our casting brought together three personalities that represented the social classes – the lecturer, the academic, and the activist, shot against a colour scheme of socialist red and scholarly wood.
