Toast approached us to art direct their Spring Summer men's campaign and to find a location that had an air of nostalgic Britishness with a vintage motorcycle theme. We discovered Brooklands, the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation, home of Concorde and the site of many engineering and technological achievements throughout the 20th century. Now a classic automobile and aviation museum, it's weathered sheds and hangers have a wonderful evocative atmosphere and the original 1907 banked concrete racetrack provided the perfect backdrop for shooting the collection. We cast three models with varied characteristics to help tell the story and hired a vintage motorbike to use as a prop.
