Repositioning

Our brief from Bermuda Shorts, a London based film and animation agency, was to create a new identity for them that would house and represent their varied roster of talent in a fresh way to give them an edge in a crowded marketplace. Moving away from the pun in their name, we instead focused on Bermuda as the main hook and developed a hand-drawn branding inspired by vintage tourism posters, brought right up to date with a clean, crisp palette of blue with screen printed white. Our solution for the company show-reels - the shop window of the brand and an important marketing asset sent out in great numbers daily to agencies – was to not only brand them in the corporate livery, but to give each director and animator their own coloured sticker, so that the delivery bag, DVD and compliments slip could all be personalised and colour-coded.
