Sophisticated style in a rural idyll

Built in 1962, Bridge End combined cutting edge building techniques with award winning architecture. Situated at the heart of the beautiful Peak District village of Ashford-in-the-Water, Bridge End offers stylish and luxurious self-catering designed for urbane sensibilities in rural surroundings. We were commissioned to brand and art direct all printed, on-line, and moving image assets, working closely with photographer Peter Guenzel to create a visual language that was high-end and modern but with a respect to the heritage of the house and its surroundings. We devised a classic, versatile identity that echoes it's geographical situation on the River Wye as well as capturing the local materials and colour palette of the house. The website was designed to be a very visual, easy to navigate experience, akin to walking around the house itself, and we made a short film to capture the atmosphere and emotion of times spent at the house.
