Our aim for the branding of the UKMVA’s, the major awards event for the music video industry, was to fuse sound and vision in a simple, intelligent and graphic way. The final logo was inspired by electronic displays, heart rate monitors and graphic equalisers, and it's understated implementation across all platforms helped it to very quickly become a cult marque - an instantly recognisable symbol of creative excellence in the industry. The versatile branding was successfully applied to stationery and invites, laser-cut into awards trophies, animated on-screen and adapted to become an important part of the awards night stage design.
