This campaign was to promote the major awards event for the music video industry, the CADS, now re-named the UK MVAs and part of a successful studio / client relationship spanning more than 15 years. We came up with the theme of props; we loved the idea that any object, however mundane, could be chosen and featured in a music video, have a moment of global fame, and then be returned to the warehouse to sit back amongst millions of other hopefuls. We worked closely with a West London props house and spent several days documenting the huge collection of objects which they arrange lovingly in wonderful displays of specific themes; some eerie, some majestic, some hilarious and others just plain disturbing.
