Our concept for this campaign to promote the major awards event for the music video industry was all about the idea behind a music video, and aimed to prove that the most memorable videos have such a simple creative concept that the whole video can be summed up in a few well chosen words. We analysed classic videos, previous winners, and some recent favourites to draw up a shortlist of around 20 to make up the campaign and developed a simple and contemporary layout with a basic CMYK colour palette that had maximum impact to help elevate the concept to a piece of conceptual pop-art.
