71 students, 17 objects, 5 workshops, 1 week

Co-Create is a week long collaborative project between the Central Saint Martins Museum and Study Collective, and students on the Foundation Plus Course. The Museum selected 17 objects from it’s archive and students were encouraged to create a new piece of work inspired by each item. As visiting lecturers we were involved in all aspects of the project from teaching in workshops, overseeing the documentation of the work through to the design and installation of the exhibition. We chose a long poster format to showcase the work and linked the projects using simple lines, with all information appearing as vinyl lettering on the windows in front. The work was displayed on site at Central Saint Martins in the main gallery windows, presenting the project to thousands of visitors over a 2 month period.
