Back to basics

Our previous brochures for Millennium Images, a high-end photographic library, had been a series of pocket sized compendiums; notebooks with an image from each of their photographers alongside articles, reference materials and blank pages for notes, all housed in faux leather or kitsch wood effect covers. For Volume 5 we decided to literally strip things back to basics for a more austere statement and chose a cover-less, exposed spine design, marked with notations and working measurements across a mix of white and off-white paper stocks. Loosely bound, this wedge of a book becomes a sculptural desk or coffee table piece that fans out on it's axis, revealing it's contents of 326 contemporary and cutting edge photographic images.
